Wow! What a night!  Will Tell was positively electrifying with their unique brand of newgrass music combining several genres of music including celtic, rock, folk and more.  What genuinely nice young people too.  They are amazingly talented!  It was standing room only August 1st for a great night of live music with Will Tell.  Thanks for everything!

Will Tell Brings Newgrass Music to the

Old Country Store Friday, August 1st

(Jackson,TN)  Some of West Tennessee's finest young musicians will take the stage in the Barnside Room at the Old Country Store restaurant Friday evening, August 1st.  Will Tell will perform during the dinner hour beginning at 6:30 pm.

Will Tell is a newgrass/folk band comprised of six bright young musicians from the West Tennessee area. The band is made up of Steven Bowman-violin, mandolin, and vocals; Ellen Appleton-violin, mandolin, keyboard and vocals; Jeff Maxwell- acoustic guitar and vocals; Robby Crafton- electric guitar and vocals; Ben Murray- electric bass and Evan Johnson-drums. The band plays a style of music that is completely their own and combines newgrass, folk, and roots music styles along with some modern rock elements.  There will be no cover charge for the performance.

Deborah Shaw Laman, Marketing Director for the Old Country Store, said, "We are always looking for opportunities to showcase live music and Will Tell is one of the most talented groups we have ever had perform at the Old Country Store.  We hope everyone will come out to see these talented young musicians and enjoy an evening of great music with us."
