Posted April 22nd, 2010:  Live music is an important part of our DNA at the Old Country Store and Casey Jones Village.  We had a great night tonight with the Jackson Area Plectral Society Club Jam and Songwriter's Depot.  See the schedule below for more information on regular live music performances in the Village.    

Posted Wednesday, March 24th, 2010:  We love having live music at the Old Country Store and in the Village! We are a huge supporter of the arts and have so many talented people in on a regular basis.

Third Tuesdays we have the Casey Jones Barbershop Chorus at 6:30 pm. Cane Ridge Bluegrass performs every Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm here at the Old Country Stor...
e. Fridays Shades of Bluegrass plays at 6:30 pm and the 1st and 3rd Saturdays the Music Highway Band performs. Thursdays from mid-April to October the Jackson Area Plectral Society has their weekly club jam outside. We can't wait for the summer season to have them back. Lawn chairs welcome. Of course, Songwriter's Depot continues to be a big hit the 4th Thursday of the month as we welcome tomorrow night the incredibly talented Rebecca Lynn Howard and Jason Matthews. We will have a special appearances by Adams Station...a new local Western/folk band on April 23rd in the Barnside Room at the Store.  Saturday, April 24th we will have live music as a part of the Casey Jones Week festivities from 10 am to 3 pm. The exciting new "Celebrate Art" festival will be that day with our friends from Art in the Village (rain date of May 1), the wonderful art gallery in the Shoppes at Casey Jones Village.  We are blessed to have so much talent in West Tennessee. Looking forward to a great year ahead!
